The Spatial Data Management Company
Open Spatial Australia is an Australian owned and operated company that specialises in providing World-Class Spatial Solutions to Utilities and Local and Central Government. Our Solutions are based on Open Geospatial compliant technologies through partnerships with Oracle and Autodesk.
Open Spatial was established in Sydney Australia in March 2001 with a mission to deliver improvements in productivity and efficiencies to Geospatial data managers. These improvements are World-Class Open Geospatial Solutions with localised content for the Asia-Pacific region.
An Australian company delivering localised solutions.
Growing exponentially since 2001 Open Spatial is represented in three major Australian cities, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Early success in the region is attributed to tier one Local Authorities and Water Utilities that needed to improve the quality of their spatial data so as to assure better quality reporting to regulators.
Our customers include, Gold Coast Water, Goulburn Valley Water, Barwon Water, City West Water, Tamworth Regional Council and Fairfield City Council.
Our Open Geospatial Solutions are in use at over 100 authorities worldwide with definable return on investment and savings delivered through productivity improvements gained by Open Spatial solutions.
The cornerstones of our solutions are based on risk averse, commoditised technologies from Oracle Corporation and Autodesk Incorporated. Technology on its own does not make up a total solution, especially a solution that is tailored to the Asia-Pacific Utility Sector. However when combined with the localised relevant applications such as Munsys & Enlighten, together they deliver to our Customers expectation.
